For this conversation we are joined by Butler Smythe. Butler is from Blue Hill and one of the key individuals behind the Peninsula Utility for Broadband, or PUB. PUB is an advocacy group that set out to connect the Blue Hill Peninsula with ubiquitous high-speed, affordable broadband, and was just in the news after receiving a portion of the NTIA grant recently awarded to ConnectMaine. In this conversation we speak about the PUB’s RFP process, digital equity, and what’s on the horizon after questions around infrastructure are answered.
