Starting this Friday (4/9) the Island Institute broadband team will begin hosting an open hour to talk and answer questions about the state and future of broadband in Maine. The zoom room will be open for an hour, and they invite you or anyone you know with questions to join. There will be another session on 4/16 and 4/23.

On Friday, February 12, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will host a roundtable discussion on the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. The event will include remarks from FCC Acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel, as well as Commissioners Carr, Starks and Simington, followed by a diverse set of panelists.
